SoniControl received the Austrian Open Source Award in the category Open Software – System and Security
The second Open Minds Award ceremony, also known as the Austrian Open Source Award, was held on November 9th 2018 at the Palais Wertheim in Vienna. The room was full, showing how active the open source community is in Austria.
SoniControl was nominated and won in the category Open Software – System and Security. The jury’s reasons for choosing SoniControl were, on the one hand, that it addresses a particularly perfidious and new tracking system and, on the other hand, that SoniControl has managed to create awareness in society for this new technology.
